I am trying to use up paper, embellishments, & stuff I have on hand. After purging lots of stuff - and moving lots of stuff it's become more of a priority. I use lots of card kits and end up with cool paper but it's not always a full sheet. To use it, sometimes my cards end up being a not so "standard" size. Or, I just don't have the right size envelope (I don't stock every size of envelope - GASP). Problem solved! An envelope punch board. I got mine here.
This card is 4 1/4" x 7". Why? The red scrap wasn't big enough to make it 5" x 7". ( I don't have any 5" x 7" envelopes anyway.) So, I made an envelope. It's really easy. Here is a YouTube video on how to use it.
This is the front of the envelope. I glued a scrap to the front so the address would show up better. Not that you have to - but I like the USPS so try to make it a little easier for them to deliver my creations. Of course I stamped it to coordinate with the card.
Thanks for clicking over to my stamping blog!
