I Stamp Closed for Honeymoon

I Stamp will be closed December 6th through December 14th. Sorry for any inconvience this may cause. The studio and store will reopen the 15th. You will still have plenty of time for Christmas shopping.

We decided to become more than business partners. Monday, November 30th at midnight we were married at the Shenago Lounge. Now it's off to New Orleans and Mexico for a well deserved vacation. See you all when we return.

BOO Coaster Class

I Stamp is offering a new class. Come make this adorable BOO decoration. The class fee is $30 and includes all the materials and instructions. Classes are limited so be sure to sign up today.

I Stamp is offering the following class times: Tuesday, October 20th; Wednesday, October 21st , Thursday, October 22nd. Each session will meet 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and is limited to 4 participants. Registration is required and Payment must be received by October 16th. You can use the PayPal link to pay online or bring your payment by the store.

I Stamp has Expanded -- Now Open Tuesday through Saturday

I Stamp has expanded and now has an Art Gallery and sells Jewelry, Coins and other Collectibles. We also buy, sell and make pawn loans.

Our awning is UP!!! Yeah!!! It's official, we are opening full-time starting Saturday, September 5th. We will be open 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sundays. Saturday the 5th is KU's first home football game of the season and we will be open late that night to catch up will all of you walking by after the game.

To celebrate our offical opening, we are GIVING AWAY the Original Donut Recipe used by Joe, to the first 100 people to come into the shop. Come on down and see the change.

I Stamp will be closed August 2-9.

New Stampers Clubs are starting in August. Please let me know if you would like to stamp new projects each month and make some new stamping friends. I still have openings in the 3rd Thursday night club. If you already have stamping friends and would like your own club, I can do that too. Just let me know.

July Events at I Stamp

Check out the calendar at the end of the blog for all the July events. There are some changes to some of the regular events this month. Since the CARD BAR is here, you can always come in and stamp so I've removed the Stamp Nites. The projects change each week now (not monthly) and are available anytime I Stamp is open (and while supplies last).

Stampers Club has been changed to the third Thursday of the month. This is a new club and is looking for stampers. The projects and techniques will vary each month - usually determined by member request.

Open Stamp has been changed to "by appointment" only.

The CARD BAR is here!!!!

The CARD BAR is INSTALLED! It's right in the front window so you can look out at 9th street while you stamp. There is room for 2 to 3 people to stamp at a time, so you can bring along a friend or two...

I will have new projects each week. They are displayed in the window so you can see them as you are going by. Generally, there will be two different cards and a scrapbook page (or 3-D item) to choose from each week. I'll try to alternate the scrapbook pages with a gift or 3-D item every other week.

May Stamping Class - Remember the old Inspiration Sheets Stampin' Up! (SU) used to have? They are STILL USABLE. I will show you how to make the projects using a current SU set. Registration is required, with payment due by May 19th. Cost = $25 for 6 projects, including Inspiration Sheet(s). $10 late payment charge.

Stamp Nites will feature the Beautiful Butterflies die and Great Friend stamp set from Stampin' Up! (R).

I Stamp will be closed this weekend.

The Birthday Bash was fun, fun, fun! Thank you all for coming. It will become an annual event so keep it on the calendar for next year. Someone left a green, "Birthdays are good for you..." card. Check to see if you are missing a card, and I will save it for you.

Birthday Bash Card Bar

April 14th is my birthday!! Come help me celebrate by stamping up a bunch of birthday cards. I'll have them ready to purchase at the "card bar" - you choose which ones and how many you want to stamp. Spring Stamp Nites

The new mini catalog is here!!!! Spring Stamp Nites will use these new sets. A different set will be featured each month. I know you will LOVE them - so come on in and "fall in love." This month the featured set is Matchbox Messages and the coordinating Matchbox die.

Stamp Nite is the first Thursday of the month, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. No registration required. The average cost ranges from $10-20 depending on the projects you choose.

A New Look for the I Stamp Studio

I mentioned that the studio was being painted - well, the base coat is on. For you folks who see the world in Stampin' Up! colors, it's Certainly Celery - a very light yellow-green. There is still some touch up to do and then it's on to the accent colors. Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke and Bravo Burgundy. That's dark brown, deep mossy green, and deep garnet red. These colors will be used for all the trim work and for stamping.

If you've always wanted to stamp on walls or just want to be a part of the process, come on down. I try not to paint when the studio is open but stamping isn't the mess that painting is so come STAMP with ME. Seriously!

Additional Simply Scrappin' Kit Card Class

I am still having trouble getting emails to those of you with @sunflower.com addresses. I don't get the failure message for 3-10 days after I send you an email. So -- Jeanna & I are going to offer another session of the Simply Scrappin' Kit Card Class.

Thursday, March 26th at 6:00 p.m. We will take registrations through the 24th (unless we fill the class before then). There are still openings in the March 19th class, but hurry - registration and payment is due Sunday, the 15th.

New Studio Hours on Thursdays & Fridays

I Stamp is now open on Thursdays from 11:00-8:00 p.m. and Fridays from 11:00-5:30 p.m. Come on in and see me. Oh yes, I better warn you, I'm painting and changing the studio around so please excuse the mess. Come in anyway - you'll love the changes.

March Stamping Class

The March stamping class is "70 Quick Cards from One Scrappin' Kit." This is a super easy way to make a lot of cards in only a couple of hours. March 19th 6:00-9:00 p.m. Registration is required, with payment due by March 15th. Cost = $25 for 20 cards, $45 for 40 cards, or $75 for 70 cards. $10 late fee

Additional Open Stamp Night

I've added another Open Stamp night to the calendar. It will be on the second Tuesday night of the month. The stamping fee will be waived for Calendar Club members if you are using your club "cards & envys."

New Events at I Stamp

Stamp Nite - The first Thursday night of the month, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. You can drop in anytime. This stamping event is designed for the new stamper, someone who wants new project ideas, or just a chance to stamp. I will have 3-4 cards, pages and/or projects prepared for you to stamp. The cost will vary depending on the projects but will usually be $10-20 (you can also pick and choose your projects). I will offer a discount for orders placed that night.

Open Stamp - The second Thursday night of the month, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. You can drop in anytime. This is your chance to use all my stamps, inks and tools while working on your stamping projects. You will need to bring your consumable supplies and embellishments. The cost is $5.00. You may purchase embellishments, etc. that I have on hand.

Valentine's Day Studio Hours

Studio Open Tuesday Night

I will be at the studio Tuesday night this week. If you missed the open house, this is another chance for you to see play with some new toys and get the new IB&C. Tuesday, February 3rd, 7:00-9:00 p.m. I have leftover make-n-take materials so you can stamp up a beautiful card using one of the Sell-a-Bration sets.

I'm also going to be there Friday, 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday is the last day I am giving the NEW Idea Book & Catalog (IB&C) FREE with your order.
